JAGRAN LAKECITY UNIVERSITY
A product of another collaborative effort with the 4 Cities Collaborative and Broadway Malyan, the campus of Jagran was designed as an integrated professional university on a 200-acre campus, with its first phase starting on 50 acres.
The site for the 1st phase was chosen to be on top of a natural plateau that stood right in the middle of the site with a sizeable table for development of the campus. The master plan looked at creating an Integrated Campus that would be walk-able with landscaped environments and spaces for activities merging with each other while looking at reducing energy usage employing passive solar techniques and active water and waste management systems. Active Pedestrian corridors, high visibility of spaces and a clear street hierarchy created a safe and secure campus.
